Fun and Football for Puttinu

Ghaxaq FC Youth Nursery is organising an event called  Family Fun Football Festival on the 8th September 2013 at Ghaxaq FC Synthetic Ground, Triq tal-Andar, Ghaxaq.  This event is supported by the Small Initiatives Scheme launched by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector.  

The Family Fun Football Festival consists of a day full of activities which go further than just promoting our area of interest, that is football. The programme includes sports area, educational area, kids area with bouncy castles and face painting, fun walk, zumba class, and will come to an end with entertainment.  The programme of events will proceed as follows:

09.00 – 09.45: Mass at Ghaxaq Parish Church

10.00 – 22.00: NGOs Promotional Stands (Malta Transplant Support Group, Equal Partners Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Marsaxlokk Aquatic Sports Club)

10.00 – 12.00: Football Sessions open for all children with Justin Haber Academy participation whereby a coach from Sunderland AFC will be holding training sessions for all age groups

12.00 – 17.00: Football Fun games for all children

11.00 – 12.00: Educational talk about the Environment by Ramblers Association

15.30 – 16.30: Fun Walk – Ghaxaq Walking Club (within Ghaxaq Local Council)

16.00 – 16.45: Educational talk about Healthy Food and Nutrition by Dr Chris Fearne

17.00 – 18.00: Zumba Class by Audrey

19.00 – 22.00: Entertainment on Stage with the participation of Danica Muscat, Pippa Gee Dance Studio, Maria Lewis, Raquel Galdes, Sharp-A-Dancers, Rachel and Ben, Dorothy Bezzina, and Klinsmann.

All activities are open to the public in general. FREE ENTRANCE to all activities. 

Children from the nursery will hold a bazaar from which proceeds will go in aid to Puttinu Cares.
