Seasonal speciality: Centinarja

These power packed vegetables can be found on sale everywhere.  They cost little but give back a lot! The seed and skin need to be removed but the rest is a versatile little number that can be influenced or influence a dish. Peelers at the ready!

Simply dice, boil for 10 minutes and mash for an apple sauce-like condiment…. Or julienne and serve with pink grapefruit or strawberries as a salsa or dessert. Lovely with oily fish, prawns or heavy meat.
