Blue Lagoon – Comino:
The blue lagoon on the island of Comino is a natural turquoise paradise pool. It is only 20 minutes by ferry from the main island; go in late spring or early fall to avoid the crowds. Extra points if you bring an underwater camera!
St Peter’s Pool:
If you are looking for a hidden place to swim, here it is! On the south coast of the island, the St Peter’s Pool is the ideal place for diving and snorkeling. You can even lie on the rocks and bask in the sun, it’s a real little paradise.
Popeye’s house is on the island of Malta! For the 1980 film Popeye, directed by Robert Altman, the team built a very elaborate set in Mellieha to recreate the village of Popeye. It is now open for public and represents a rather unique setting for a selfie!
Visiting the historic city of Mdina will immerse you in the past. Impossible to talk about the city without mentioning its huge gate, which appears several times in the TV series “Game of Thrones”. Between cobbled alleyways and climbing flower vines, you will find here a super instagrammable city!
From the majestic views of the Upper Barrakka Gardens to the beautiful seaside, Valletta certainly deserves to be photographed. This old city has a lot of amazing restaurants for lunch and dinners, historical places with a lot of history behind!
