A few workshops to make your festive season fun!
FESTIVE FINGER FOOD [ADULT] WORKSHOP – Sat 30th Nov 9am-12pm / 2-5pm
This workshop will explore tasty ideas for finger food that can be used for appetisers, party snacks, a light lunch, the first course of a dinner, or just nibblies to go with some fantastic wine or cocktail. You will leave the class with a sample of various finger food and a copy of recipe cards so you could then recreate the party food at home just in time for the festive season. Fee: €30 (incl. cost of ingredients, various cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks & recipe cards).
CHRISTMAS DELIGHTS [ADULT] WORKSHOP – Sat 7th Dec 2-5pm
Want to learn how to make some festive treats with a healthy twist? During this hands-on cooking session, you will have the opportunity to prepare and decorate a Christmas log as well as gingerbread cookies. You will proudly take them home boxed and ready to impress family and friends. You will leave with a copy of recipe cards, Christmas log, batch of gingerbread cookies, confidence to recreate these treats at home and more knowledge about the health benefits of the key ingredients used and recipe variations. Fee: €30 (incl. cost of ingredients, a complementary glass of mulled wine & recipe cards).
CHRISTMAS DELIGHTS [ADULT & CHILD] WORKSHOP – Sat 14th Dec 9:30am-12pm / 2-4:30pm
Christmas is the ideal time for a joint mum or dad and child collaboration in the kitchen. During this hands-on festive class, you will learn how to prepare a festive treat the healthy way. Choose one of the following 3 Christmas delights which the pair of you would like to prepare during the workshop:
1. A batch of mince pies; OR
2. Christmas log; OR
3. Gingerbread Christmas tree
Fee: €25 (incl. cost of ingredients, complementary drinks & recipe cards) for one adult and one child, aged 5+.
Due to the limited number of booking and food expenses involved, a deposit of €15 is required to secure any booking via PayPal / bank transfer / Revolut / cheque.
All workshops will be held at St Elia’s College, Santa Venera.
